Bryan Hughes is CTO and co-founder of Go Factory, an early stage startup creating a revolutionary new developer platform for connecting the Internet of Things.
Mr. Hughes has over 25 years of experience in technology. Prior to Go Factory, he was a CEO/CTO of Predictive Medical Technologies, focusing on real-time predictive analytics for ICU surveillance. Before PMT, he was a director-level Architect at Oracle in Fusion Middleware and Identity Management. He is a veteran of several venture-funded startups including Bridgestream (acquired by Oracle), Friendster, Spoke Software, Shutterfly (IPO), and Healtheon/WebMD (IPO). Mr. Hughes is inventor of nine patents spanning: discovering and connecting devices; temporal relational databases; and alert notifications within social graphs.

1) what is the Relationship of Things and where are the humans;
2) the challenges of having 50 billion devices connected to the Internet by the year 2020, as is currently predicted by Cisco; and
3) how to build a highly scalable and fault tolerant platform necessary to connect billions of end points, which range from smart devices to dumb network attached sensors, to trusted systems and critical infrastructure, while enforcing security and access policies.
He also bring several devices to demonstrate seamlessly connecting things together, including wearable sensors, a fleet telematics unit, and mobile devices.
